The whole country was earlier jolted by fresh news of young unemployed Nigerians dying at various Nigerian Immigration Service test centres across the country.Abuja NIS stampede

 

PORT-HARCOURT

 Immigration-Exams-42Hospital authorities at the Rivers government-owned Braithwaite Memorial Hospital in Port Harcourt have confirmed that four candidates died during a stampede at the Nigeria Immigration Service recruitment.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that more than 20,000 candidates were involved in a stampede at the Liberation stadium, Port Harcourt, venue of the exercise on Saturday morning.

ABUJA

 Immigration-Exams-41o fewer than 12 people were feared killed at the National stadium on Saturday after over 2 million Nigerians job applicants stormed the stadium and struggled to secure for themselves a space inside the stadium arena to take Nigerian Immigration aptitude test scheduled for today (Saturday).

MINNA

Two applicants slumped and died at the recruitment venue in Minna on Saturday where over 12,000 applicants from the state converged for recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, reports.

37,800 applicants participate in Immigration recruitment in Kano, Gombe, BornoimageNo fewer than 15,000 people participated in the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) recruitment exercise in Kano.

 Benue

 No fewer than 17, 800 applicants took part in the exercise at the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi.

In Gombe,

 5,000 candidates from Gombe and Borno took part in the exercise at Abubakar Umar Memorial Stadium.
